ALMARA Mar & Brasa was born from the desire to create a restaurant where the sea would truly be at the heart of the experience. Our idea has always been to work with the freshest seafood, showcasing local products, regional fishermen, and the authentic flavors of Bahia. Each dish strives to respect the simplicity and quality of the product, combining contemporary techniques with the flavors of charcoal grilling.

At the helm of the kitchen is Chef Fernando Luz, born and raised in Itacaré. From childhood, he grew up in harmony with the sea alongside his father and brothers, all fishermen, learning about the fish, the tides, and the bounty of the region. This deep connection to the ocean inspires a cuisine that is sincere, elegant, and full of character.

At Mar & Brasa, every experience is an encounter between the sea, fire and the essence of Itacaré.
